An example of perseverance Mr. Rohan John Baptiste
The patient Rohan Jhon Baptiste, came to our physiotherapy service in December 2024 with the after-effects of a motorcycle accident, for which he underwent surgery on his right hip and femur and his left shoulder, later he was referred to physiotherapy to continue his recovery.
This patient came to our service in a walker without support of his right leg with limited mobility of the right knee and loss of muscle strength, also with limited range of mobility and strength of his left arm and shoulder, from the beginning we set short, medium and long-term goals to improve his condition, increasing his joint range of motion in both his knee and shoulder and working on strengthening his upper and lower limbs.
This patient has considerably improved his physical condition and strength, he already walks with partial support and his mobility has improved a lot. We will continue to follow the established goals so that once treatment is completed, the patient can return to their daily activities with maximum independence.
